Our Story

A family cafe where two traditions meet.

Gemina is run by a Turkish family with a simple belief: a coffee shop should feel like home. That is why the espresso is dialed in by hand, the Turkish coffee is brewed the way it has been for generations, and the pastel de nata comes out of the oven with a blistered top and a custard that still jiggles.

Since opening on 14th Street, Gemina has become a quiet fixture of the neighborhood. Regulars get greeted by name. Students settle into the back room. And the display case rarely keeps a full tray of nata for long.

A best seller. Floral, softly sweet, and as photogenic as it is comforting.
